SCCA track days coming up next weekend at only $150/175 per day
(almost half the cost Miller charges!)
beginner/intermediate Saturday intermediate/advanced Sunday.

I'm going to see if the Exige can survive Saturday now that its
roadworthy again. The car and I need some practice...

What a great day! Great Weather. I don't know if you can imagine the
full track course and only 15 cars registered. Sadly because of the
small turnout the SCCA can no longer afford to run these cheap track
days, so no more events in foreseeable future. Met a couple of Lotus
enthusiasts too. One completely restored an Elise that was written off
and another who has built his own Elise Turbocharger installation. A
really fun day to end the season.

Sounds like I missed out. I am fortunate to work with the lapping days crew so I get 4 free track days a year... My last window was august. Otherwise I would have gone. I did drive my elise on I 215 and caught up to a fellow lotus owner driving his yellow supercharged Elise. So not exactly a track day but we did drive along side each other for a few miles! Reminds me... We still need to arrange more group drives in the future. Waiting on weather and the jaguars killed us this summer! :)
