Ryan and everybody else--
I called the MHS office, talked to Joan.

Available dates: (June--all but the first weekend)
Rental fee: $75/hr. ($60/hour, with another $15/hour for the school
rep.)
Area: The commons (it's basically the cafeteria, with an open ceiling
that may go three stories up, huge windows, lots of natural light)
Furniture: "Large" round tables, eight chairs per table. These would
be set up for us at no cost. Chairs are not attatched to the tables.
Times: Anywhere from 6am-11pm.
PA system is available for a flat $25 fee.
Parking: (no charge, I assume) large lot off of 5300 South.
Food: Allowed in the commons area, and MHS is within a 5-minute
walking distance of many eateries kitty-corner from the State St./5300
South intersection.
Freeway accessibility: I-15 offramp at 5300 South, only four blocks
away.
I say do it, it seems as ideal as we're going to get.
Opinions?
And by the way, I'd rather pay more (double), or drive a couple
counties away to pull this off, than not have it go on at all.
