Hotels are PRICEY

Oio.  Hotels may be great for staying open late, but there is a reason that cons such as BGG CON are $50 per ticket.  Hotel meeting rooms are VERY expensive... literally at least $1000 dollars per day.  You also aren't always allowed to bring in outside food (depending on contract...).  That would drive ticket costs way, way up.  Stay at the U, yo... that's my take.

Ack--my ticket to BGG Con was $80.00--I clearly went awry somewhere;).
Anyway, it looks like I'm being vetoed on the hotel thing.
Personally, it's worth paying for for me, but I get not being able to
afford it, so if there were a way to extend the U's hours for a price
people might find more affordable, that'd be great.
