Conference 2010 Early Bird registration ends September 25!  Register

So, what’s going on at UTOSC 2010, October 7-9 at the Miller Campus of
the Salt Lake Community College.

Over 50 presentations, including 3 awesome keynotes

   * Jared Smith, the Fedora Project Leader, will present ‘Swimming
upstream: How Linux distributions help the entire community‘
   * Howard Tayler, creator of Schlock Mercenary, will return and
present another excellent keynote
   * Karsten Wade, with Red Hat’s Community Architecture Team, will
present ‘Barn raising and musicians on the green – old ideas in a
digital world‘

== Getting Started – Thursday, October 7, 2010 ==

Thursday has 4 rooms full of awesome presentations and in the evening
we have some really fun activities.

   * 6:00pm (Auditorium) will be LaunchUP, a community event to help
Technology Entrepreneurs.
   * 7:30pm (Auditorium) Ignite Salt Lake will start.  Amazing 5
minute presentations are all the rage!

The evening activities above do not require registration for UTOSC, so
come and enjoy the fun all evening long.

We do provide a couple other events Thursday evening:

   * 6:30pm (Rm 123) Fedora Campus Ambassadors Birds of a Feather Session
   * 7:30pm (Rm 123) BSD Certification Exam – Seethe event page to register.

== All about the presentations – October 8, 2010 ==

Friday is jam-packed with 5 rooms of presentations and workshops. In
the evening, we’re heading out to a local pub (more details to come)
for some food and fun! And if you are still up for more after that,
all night hacking is *not* out of the question!

== Bring the whole crew on Family Day — October 9, 2010 ==

Saturday is among the best days at UTOSC!  For families, we have
several fun activities, games and presentations.  Because Utah and the
Mountain West focus a lot on the family, UTOSC does too! Saturday has
educational family presentations in the Beginner and Intermediate
levels, a GPS treasure hunt, the Gaming Corner and more.  Bring the
whole family for free with every Full Access Attendee!!
