We have a new species to add to the Utah Checklist!

Hepatic Tanager.  Here's the record that was officially accepted by the UBRC:

This makes about 53 new species for Utah since the year 2000!   (..we've lost a couple through some species merges).  Here's a list of the New Species documented for Utah:

We had at least 100 Utah birders welcome this new visitor to the state (according to eBird checklists submitted). This may also be a record!
