Here are the cue sheets, waiver, and GPS files for our brevet series this weekend, Saturday May 20. The forecast looks really great so I hope everybody has a great ride.

Due to a recent injury, I (Ken) will not be attending, but Steve will collect waivers and distribute cue sheets & brevet cards at the start.

Time Check in at 4:30 with a 5:00 a.m. departure with brief announcements right beforehand.

Start Location Macey’s grocery store @ 760 E Main St, Lehi, Utah. It is just west of exit 279, off I-15 on the south side of Main Street.

Lighting required: please come prepared with lights, reflective vest, and 2 reflective ankle bands.

Andrea has volunteered to be available for emergency on-call support. If you have issues that you cannot resolve, please text me (Ken) at 801-833-2782 and/or Andrea at 801-368-4194 and we will try to help out. This route has long stretches without cell coverage, and also long stretches without food/water so please study the route for resupply options. This is really an amazing and beautiful route so I hope you all enjoy the ride!

Hi B & B!!

That route frequently has nasty headwinds from mile 75 to 125. No services along here, so stock up on fluids or take extra as needed. Then, after "turning the corner" and heading back north it sometimes ends up as a cross wind for some odd reason. Services as sparse but they are evenly spaced on the first two loops with plenty on the final loop. As you can see by the profile, most of the climbing is in the first half, so you can kick back into auto-pilot for the balance of the brevet (yeah right!).

There is a bit of interstate travel on the morning hours of day one — generous shoulder though. But, on the other hand, there is a very nice bike path that parallels a creek, right after passing Big Rocky Candy Mountain. (I wonder if it will be flooded this year?)

Come on out, we'd love to see you guys again.
