Our next brevet is June 1 starting in Nephi, with options of 200/300/400k. We will all start together at 5:00AM with a 4:30 check-in, and the routes stay together for the first 60 miles.

Ride details:

GPS files:

A few notes: the start location has changed to the Maverik a few blocks north, due to the old start location no longer being open 24 hours. This small change has thrown off the route mileage, so we have been updating the routes this week so please re-sync to be certain you have the latest route. And thanks to Richard who has pre-ridden the 300k and updated that route (and thanks to Jen who pre-rode with him).

We will all be starting in the dark, so please bring your reflective vest & ankle bands, and bike lights to check-in for inspection. Please print out and sign the attached waiver for prompt check-in. Cue sheets are also attached.

See you Saturday!
-Ken

I see a typo. Mile 134 on the 300K cue PDF should read "head east," NOT west.

I fixed the RwGPS file.

Hi Ken,

Is it too late to sign up for this weekends 400k? I'm not sure yet, but might jump in the car and head over from Colorado tomorrow.

Do I need Utah Randos membership?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Ken & Richard,

I made a last minute decision to head over from Colorado to ride the 400k on Saturday. I filled in the online registration and will bring my waiver. It doesn't look like membership to SLR is required, but if it is or there are any other administrative things I should attend to please let me know.

Also, I'll be riding my velomobile- anything I should be concerned about along the route?

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks,

Jim

Yes Jim, you're all set. This should be a really great route for a velomobile, the only concern may be getting on the bike path at mile 158 but you'd be fine to just stay on the highway there if there's an issue. The access road to the bike path is steep dirt but I think you'd be able to ride up it or push for a few yards
