Please join Salt Lake Randonneurs for the Backroads of the Great Basin 134k populaire, on Saturday April 18.
Sign
in starts at 8:30AM for a prompt 9:00AM start at Cubbys Restaurant at
1367 Exchange Dr in Saratoga Springs. Please note the start location has
changed; we will be across the street to the south of Walmart (our
usual start), to allow for after-ride milkshakes at Cubbys.
It's not too late to join, please register here:
https://www.saltlakerandos.org/registration/A unique waiver is required for each ride, if you have not already submitted an electronic waiver, please do:
https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/v/rusaUTSaltLakeCityThis
is the second ride in our Rouleur Series, and offers a true rouleur
route with rolling hills, punchy climbs, wide open desert views, and
very little flat terrain. There is no food or water resupply for the
first 42 miles, so please bring enough to get to the Sinclair station in
Stockton. There is also a burrito shop in Stockton that I haven't tried
yet, so I am planning to stop there for lunch. The time limit for this
route is 5:56PM (8h 56m).

electronic brevet verification, please email me your GPS track after
the ride, or join our 2026 Strava club if you use that app, and I will
see your results there.

most people have switched to electronic GPS navigation, I will no
longer be providing paper cue sheets & brevet cards, so please print
out your own cards (attached) if needed.
