I can loan out any equipment needed for night riding if anybody needs that, please let me know ahead of time and I'll bring anything you need, I have lots of spares.

My recommended battery headlight: Lumintop B01, it has a very good shaped beam which is rare for a battery light. It uses a replaceable 21700 battery so you just bring as many batteries as you need for that ride. I don't like the included mount, so I use the Twofish lock-block mount which is my favorite mount design.

I use Planet Bike tail lights because I think they have the best mounting systems, but I'm not happy with the (rechargeable) battery life of any of their current offerings.

My favorite ankle bands are Leg Shield, much brighter than others that I have seen. But there are also good ankle bands available at running stores.

I like the RUSA Voler reflective vest, but it's only available when there's a team order open.
There are lots of running vests that work well, but very few cycling-specific vests.
