New schedule, new meeting location, focus changes

Hi all,

As discussed at our last meeting, we are changing things a bit.

First of all we'll now be meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
starting in October. The doors will open at 5:00 pm for presenters to
setup. Pizza will arrive at 5:30 and the meeting will start at 6:00.
We'll have general business and an application demo, then start our
first presentation. Around 7:15 or 7:30 we'll start the second
presentation.

We are moving from the location at STG, who have been and continue to
be great supporters, to the IHC education facility at LDS Hospital at
8th Avenue and C Street. See map at http://www.utahmobiledev.org.

As to our focus. There are several iPhone-related developer groups,
all with their own meeting schedules, and 3 of them met on the same
night (our old meeting night). We're interested in all mobile
development but feel that there's too much fragmentation among the
iPhone developer groups. We aren't interested in continuing to
contribute to that. So for all of our members with an interest in
iPhone development, the schedule move increases options for attending
additional iPhone-related meetings. Along with this change we are
moving our presentation focus off of our mixed-bag and putting more
attention on the Android platform. Other platforms may get attention
as well as time will tell.

As for management tools we are moving from our Google group to a
Facebook group. The Facebook group just provides more features;
images, video, event management, RSVP, etc. Please visit
