Mobile Pyrolysis Wood to Energy Demonstration

Part of the Annual Harvest Festival at the High Star Ranch in Kamas, Utah On Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 1:00 until 6:00 pm.

The Utah Biomass Resources Group is teaming up with Amaron Energy to bring you a demonstration of mobile pyrolysis; this is a process by which woody biomass is cooked under controlled temperatures and with limited oxygen to thermally decompose the wood into three products; bio oil, biochar, and a producer gas. This is a modern way to turn waste wood into high value products.
