Alfresco Reporting

Has anybody run queries directly against the Alfresco Database, for
reporting purposes? What are the concerns to be aware of? Where is a
good description of the database model?

I've tried to fine a data model of the alfresco database and I have not been able to find any info on this. If anyone else knows I would love to know. Also the alfresco technical group might be a good place to post this question.

You normally don't want to access the database directly. The exception is the Audit Service, which creates tables that are meant to be used for reporting. It is documented here:
