I'm planning on going to the August meeting of the Austin Hadoop Users
Group, and knowing what some of the people on this mailing list are
interested in, I suspect some of you might want to join.
The meeting is next Thursday evening at 6PM (details and RSVP link
below). If you'd like to go but are limited by transport issues (or
are interested in carpooling), contact me off list or talk to me at
the Friday meeting and we can arrange something.

Hi Folks
The August meeting is focused on tooling around Big Data. We have two
different companies (Pentaho and Karmasphere) flying in from out of
town to present to us. I'll also be giving a quick 5-10 minute
introduction to Hadoop before we get rolling as there was quite a lot
of interest in doing this at last months meeting.
As usual, we'll have Austin's Pizza, Tacos and a good selection of
beer and beverages.
