NSERC and OGS Scholarship Applications - 1999/2000

Please announce in the next few graduate and fourth year (EE, CE and Eng
Sci.) lectures that application forms for the above scholarships are now
available in the ECE Graduate Office, Room SF-1107.

NSERC

[Engineering Science students must contact their own office for NSERC
applications and instructions.]

Eligibility - Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. Must have first
class standing in each year of the last two completed years of study.

Value: PGSA - $17,300 per year for two years (Master's) and PGSB - $19,100
per year for two years (PhD).
Deadline: Completed application forms with all supporting documents must
be returned to the ECE Graduate Office by Monday, October 19, 1998.

OGS (Ontario Graduate Scholarship)


Eligibility: Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents and Visa Students

Applicants must have maintained an overall average of A- during each of
the last two completed years sof study.

Value: $3953 per term for two or three consecutive terms; one term awards
will not be made.

Deadline: Completed application forms with all supporting documents must
be returned to the ECE Graduate Office by Friday, October 23, 1998.

Note: The School of Graduate Studies NO longer requires graduate students
to apply for an OGS in order to be considered for a U of T
Fellowship.Connaught Scholarship holders must continue to apply for an OGS
in order to be considered for a renewal of their Connaught Scholarship.
