When/Where: It's your own responsibility to consult the official
timetables for the time/place of the exam

What: You are responsible for all material we covered in class from
beginning of the semester until the end of the semester.
You are responsible for all lecture notes/textbook notes, tutorial

notes and everything else we provided to you.

How: This is a closed book exam. You may use a pen or a pencil to answer

the exam. Foreign students may have a dictionary. Nothing else
(including calculators, cell phones, PDAs etc) is permitted.

MAKE SURE YOU BRING A PHOTO I.D. (drivers license, passport, UofT
card etc) FOR IDENTIFICATION.

Suggestions:
Attempt problems from textbook, exam problems will be similar to
the ones in the textbook and examples from class. Attend tutorials
and the final review session on Sunday April 18th (see WWW) but
have
your questions ready prior to the session. Post questions and
interact
with the newsgroup. Sleep well! Good luck.

Is it true that B trees won't be on the final?

In Prof. Veneris' announcement, it says:

What: You are responsible for all material we covered in class from
beginning of the semester until the end of the semester.
You are responsible for all lecture notes/textbook notes, tutorial
notes and everything else we provided to you.

The only thing I'm allowed to say regarding what will or will not be on
the exam is that "according to the above announcement, if B trees were
covered, then you are responsible for them". The only two people who can
tell you anything different are Prof. Veneris and Prof. Carter.

Alexander

P.S. Remember that you have a final Q&A session on Sunday, April 18th,
4:30-5:30pm in BA2155.
