Project Overview
HHSC is seeking 8 experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 professionals to support application design, development, and migration activities. Selected candidates will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern Java technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
All deliverables are considered “work made for hire” and will be the property of HHSC.
Criminal background checks may be required.
HHSC does not pay interview fees.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new application components
• Develop and maintain front-end (React/Angular) and back-end services (Java, Spring Boot)
• Develop RESTful APIs and manage API integrations
• Perform database design and application lifecycle management
• Conduct performance tuning and vulnerability remediation
• Create technical and design documentation
• Follow best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability
Minimum Required Experience (8+ Years Required in Each Area)
• Web application development using Java & J2EE
• Front-end development using React or Angular
• Web services & API development
• Spring Boot (open-source Java frameworks)
• RESTful service security (JWT, OAuth)
• JEE application implementation
• Responsive client-facing applications
• Web service integration with Angular/React SPAs
• Application performance, scalability & maintainability best practices
Preferred Experience (5+ Years Preferred)
• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
• Agile Development Methodologies
