(Part-Time) Technical Support

Job Description

Handle technical issues and check system status (mostly through a web portal, sometimes via ssh)

Document on things learned/handled

Work from home or wherever there is internet connection (See Requirements below)

May need to work when situation requires so, though very unlikely

This individual will be sufficiently trained with business knowledge

Requirments

Linux/Unix System and Shell Script

perform basic system work

MySQL

Pocess basic understanding

Smart Phone with Data Plan

Need to handle issues when necessary, even if being away from office

Nice-to-Have

Documentation tool such as DocuWiki, Foswiki, MediaWiki, Catalyst, TiddlyWiki, and so on

Compensation

Rate depends on experience and capability

Work no more than 10 hours a week, may increase in the future

(Part-Time) Software Development

Job Description

Develop various web fron-end and back-end programs

Write MySQL code to create, modify, insert, delete entries in the database

Required Skills

Linux/Unix

Understand basic Shell Scripts

MySQL

Fluent in SQL language

PHP

Nice-to-Have

MySQL

Fine tuning and performance improvement

Documentation tool such as DocuWiki, Foswiki, MediaWiki, Catalyst, TiddlyWiki, and so on

Compensation

Rate depends on experience and capability

May be project-based, if mutually agreed upon
