Removing the low slope polygons

Toward the end of the lab we are trying to remove the low slopw polygons that are outside of the 2.5kn Snow Basin Buffer.  What is a good tool for this?  I tried clip, and extract.  They dont seem to be the ones I want.

Hi Matt,
There is a tool that does the opposite of Clip.  Is this maybe what you ultimately need to do?
Remember that there are hundreds of geoprocessing tools beyond the ones that appear in the Geoprocessing shortcut menu drop down. Hundreds - maybe thousands.
Clip preserves the features inside the "cookie cutter" shape. But you want to erase the features inside the cookie cutter shape and preserve those outside...
there's a hint in there somewhere...
