Can anyone help me with the focal and zonal statistics steps?  I've been trying for an hour or so and can't seem to figure it out, despite reading through all of the emails.

Thanks

What exactly? Run focal statistics on the land cover file for 33 cells and variety

Okay, thanks.  I ran that before but my results weren't making sense and I didn't know if I was doing it right.  I have two classes within the focal statistics layer of which one of them my identified parcels fall within.  So when I try to get zonal statistics of it, the input raster is the # parcels (those greater than 2 acres) the zone field is ID, and the input raster is the focal statistics?

Thanks

Correct. Gosh I hope I'm telling you correctly bc it's not right in front of me. But that sounds right. You should get an output table with every 2 acre plus polygon with a mean variety score. The highest mean variety is most desirea lie

Great input Ingrid.
Drew have you worked this out?
Your description is a little strange: i.e. your focal statistics layer shouldn't have 2 classes. It should look like a big messy hodgepodge of 8 or so classes... now I hope I'm telling you correctly because I also don't have it in front of me!  Also, your inputs for zonal statistics, you said your input raster is the # of parcels... your input ZONE should be those polygons... maybe that's what you mean? Your variety of landcover (focal statistics) is correct for the raster input...

I think I'm good with Lab 10, thanks.  However, I skipped over Lab 9 as I was stuck on Part B, after the calculations.  Where should I resume with the lab with the data (DOD) you provided?

If I sent you the DoD, you will need to apply the confidence threshold. So, removing the values between -10cm and +10cm doing a raster calculation.

Do you mind if I give you a call,  I am just not getting this. I don't think I have your cell number anymore.  The raster you provided as a supplement has a range of 0-85, therefore I am confused with erasing the -10 to 10.  Sorry, I know you're busy too and I don't want to bug you but I really want to complete this today.  In the meantime, I'll keep trying to figure things out.
