Considering how crazy LAX is known to be, I must admit that my recent flight with Frontier Airlines LAX Terminal out of LAX was surprisingly efficient and seamless. Although Terminal 5 at LAX is not the newest, it offered everything I needed for a comfortable departure, and that's where Frontier operates. I got to the airport about two hours early, just to be safe. Check-in was easy since I had already checked in through the Frontier app the night before. I just needed to print my bag tag at a kiosk and drop off my suitcase, which took less than 10 minutes. The staff were helpful and moved the lines along quickly. Security at Terminal 5 was a bit busy, but it moved at a decent pace. Once I was through, I found plenty of seating near my gate and was glad to see charging stations available, which was a lifesaver for my phone. I grabbed a coffee from Peet’s and had a breakfast sandwich while I waited. The boarding process was punctual and arranged according to group number. Overhead bin space was not an issue for me because I had just paid for a personal item. I was grateful that the airplane boarded and took off on time. Although Frontier isn't a beautiful hotel, it was just what I needed for a quick trip. Overall, Frontier Los Angeles Airport was a no-frills but very straightforward experience. If you're prepared—meaning you check in online, pay for bags in advance, and understand their fees—it can be a great low-cost way to travel. I’d definitely fly them again, especially out of LAX where Terminal 5 makes everything pretty easy to navigate.
