Oscar is a lizard living in a non-specific desert that has features from several different real deserts, like the Sahara, Kalahari Desert, and North American deserts. An asphalt concrete highway runs through the area, used from time to time by various cargo trucks. Oscar is generally searching for food or water; he sometimes discovers liquid, in bottles or elsewhere, but is usually frustrated from recovering it for drink. An oasis supplies the only fresh water in the area, but its thick population of irascible and hungry crocodiles renders it inaccessible. At considerable personal risk (lizard is a delicacy for chickens), Oscar occasionally manages to steal an egg from a nearby hen coop, and he sometimes explores one of the piles of trash that litter the parched landscape. The Trio, which involves Buck, a vulture; Harchi, a hyena; & Popy, a fennec fox, inhabit a derelict school bus situated on a neighboring hill, but they mostly race about on a cast-off warehouse or grocery cart powered by Harchi and directed by Popy. Like Oscar, the trio constantly search for food and water - often competing with him, sometimes abusing him as a means, but occasionally cooperating with him when it suits their purpose. The main characters often find themselves falling off cliffs a la Wile E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner, wherein the law of gravity is briefly suspended while the character comes to realize their imminent doom.
Harchi is interested with the public but a little less than Popy, in Oasis Cup When Popy earns a score in tennis, Harchi uses a camera and takes pictures with 3D glasses breaking the fourth wall posing of his physicist in "Beach Dream" when he arrives at the oasis he puts a float on his arm and Oscar as one on the other and makes strength with the biceps flexed showing his muscles and Oscar goes off into the air
The cartoon is good, wholesome fun for all kids (and adults!), and like the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons, contains no dialogue. The action of the cartoon is fun and silly, and follows Oscar the lizard as he searches the asphalt highway-crossed dessert for food and water. There is an oasis of fresh water nearby, but drinking from that oasis is treacherous, as there are hungry crocodiles who frequent the water hole.
Oscar's Oasis (Prancis Oscar & Co) adalah sebuah kartun animasi non-verbal yang diproduksi oleh TeamTO dan Tuba Entertainment dalam asosiasi dengan Cake Entertainment yang berdasarkan pada acara aslinya yang disiarkan di Disney Channel Asia.[1] Serial tersebut dimulai sebagai sebuah serial yang setiap episodenya berjalan selama 1-2 menit dengan judul Ooohhh Asis. Oscar's Oasis dapat ditonton di Nintendo 3DS di 3D. Di Amerika Serikat, semua episodenya dapat dilihat di Netflix Streaming.[2] Di Amerika Latin dan Brasil, pengalihan bahasa Spanyol dan Portugisnya disiarkan di Cartoon Network Amerika Latin.
