SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 软件源配置

Hi,

最近在香港这边学校里注册了一个 VPS, 系统是 SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. 系统中并没有可用的
Linux. 我在网上翻了半天，发现这系统是在激活之后会自动分配软件源，但是我的系统似乎并没有激活。给管理员发邮件，对方也弄不清楚的样子。并且控制面板功能极其有限（除了删除之外什么都没有）。我没办法重装其他系统。

我想问，在这样的情况下还有办法配置软件源吗？如何配置？

我也碰到过这样的情况，但似乎sles和opensuse没有版本对应关系(redhat好歹能和centos对应)。
后来，由于服务器没有必要更新，就不配源了。软件什么的就都编译安装了。

但后来想想，直接用opensuse的源，应该就是直接升级成opensuse。。。。

你现在能 ssh 登录这个 VPS 吗？

估计是不让选系统，只能使用sles。
ssh进去换个系统好像还是很麻烦的吧。。。。

在 freeshell 上练熟了就还好吧，开始几次总有地方考虑不到就刷成砖了，好在 freeshell 可以在一两分钟内重装系统。

我打错了。系统中没有可以使用的软件源。

以前学校提供 solaris 机器（很多人共用，没有 root 权限）的时候我就是在家目录下编译软件的。现在这个是 VPS，我就懒得在家目录下弄了。如果配置不好软件源这个 VPS 我就不要了。反正这东西是只能香港理工内部访问。我们没有 ipv6...
