Dear USTCers in the bay area,

I am from 908 and I have spent the last few years in Beijing doing a small internet startup.

I am staying in the Bay area (Mountain View to be precise) for the next couple of months. I think maybe some of you are considering doing startup here or in China. I'd be happy to share with you what I have learned and give my comments or suggestions as best as I can.

Dear friends,

Thank you for the responses and sorry if I can't reply you.

I think it will be good for me to have a couple of group sessions rather than having many one-on-one chats. Due to my wife's maternity condition, we can only do this near my home. I will host one tomorrow afternoon.

Time: tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon 5-7pm
Location: 707 Continental Circle, Mountain View, 94040. We will use the hangout area of our building complex, a pretty nice big room with TV, fireplace, couch, etc.
Contact: it's our complex's rental office address, once you get here and parked, give me a call and I will lead you in. 650-799-7638, Huazhang Shen.

The time may not be ideal so I expect a small gathering. If you can't make it and are still interested, maybe I can do one sometime during weekend days soon.

I am more familiar with grassroot type of startups in China, so you won't hear much stories about million-dollar investment, etc. But it's actually the reality in today's startup world.
