"I want to add uStart as my browser's start page"

Please check your spam mail box as it may be filtered by your provider.

"How do I change the font size"

You can select font size in the My account menu.

 

 "I can get uStart to display three or maybe even four columns of feeds on my start page"

uStart has up to 5 columns, you just need to find them, they might be hidden inbetween two existing columns.

"Are we  able to upload our own user pictures to use as skins and themes on our ustart home pages?"

 

You can currently : 

- use facebook pictures ( you need to configure the facebook widget)

- use custom a URL (see advanced menu of the Skin menu)

"I cannot add a feed to a page"

1. Enter the feed's URL or name into the search section of the "customize my page" menu

2. If not found, you can directly add the feed with the url :

First off Thanks! I love uStart best replacement out there! quick questions, why do theses feeds not work (Environment Canada) http://weather.gc.ca/rss/city/sk-40_e.xml

And second is it possible to have a google search  open in a new page vs the tab in Ustart?  Thanks

Hello,

Your feed is not recognized by our search menu, we will investigate.

In the meantime you can add it to your page with this url : http://www.ustart.org/?rssurl=http%3A%2F%2Fweather.gc.ca%2Frss%2Fcity%2Fsk-40_e.xml

As for google search, the only option you have now is to open search results (when clicked) in a new page (My account menu)

There is no options to change opacity of blocs. It is at the moment not possible - Unless you have some knowledge in web technologies (css)

I have had an account with you for several years. I had a computer crash and can no longer log in. I requested user ID and Password and nothing came to my email inbox, spam, or junk. please send me the account info as I do not want the reload everything I had there.
