Our own reunion planning and those who plan for other ship's reunions are looking for insight to various locations - what worked - what did not work -- and in general tips for how to plan for reunions in the future.  This topic was opened because of an inquiry from USS VOGUE reunion group - hoping to gather information for future locations and learn from our experience. We can also learn from them !

Who is lead planner for O'Callahan reunions? Voge group going to New England this October for celebration of 50th anniversary of commissioning. In 2018, San Diego. Starting now to think about 2020. Would like to touch base with your group to see how Pensacola works out and swap lessons learned. Warm regards<

Have you had a reunion in San Diego? Voge started in Mayport, then Norfolk and next is Providence (for Newport and Boston). Going to San Diego in 2018 to allow reunion closer to home for West Coast shipmates. For 2020, think is gulf coast, Chicago area or Mayport again (about 50% of our located shipmates live there)
