  *** USS Odyssey / Transporter Room ***

:: Wall the supplies having been beamed over to the starbase, now only the onerous task of beaming over the former Senator remained. Standing next to the transporter control panel where the ship's Chief Transport Operator stood, Clifton readied himself to view in person an individual whom he hated with a passion.  This woman may as well have been a paid operative for the Dominion during the war, but these were different times.  He was under orders from Captain MacLaren and Starfleet itself to treat this woman with politeness (no matter how he felt about her personally) and he had little choice but to do so. ::

Transporter Chief: Locked on, sir. Ready to beam one aboard.

:: He glanced about, expecting that Captain MacLaren would arrive shortly, and took a deep breath. ::

Clifton: Very well, Chief.  Energize.

:: A single female form appeared upon the transport padd, a human (as Clifton had expected) but this woman was short, maybe 5 feet in height, and a bit plump.  Her blonde hair was short and curly, her blue eyes glanced about the room as she lifted her suitcase and took a step off the platform. ::

Clifton: Wait a minute, who the devil are you?

:: She looked surprised and a bit uneasy, she slowly reached into her pocket and produced an isolinear optical rod. ::

Woman: I'm Cynthia Ogelthorpe. here are my travel orders. I thought you were expecting me.

Transporter Chief:  We were, sir.  We are beaming up two people, er that is two passengers.  She has clearance to come aboard as a civilian.

:: Clifton had been so preoccupied with the arrival of Esperanza Delores-Silva that had forgotten a few details. ::

Clifton: Oh ... well, welcome aboard Miss Ogelthorpe, I'll have one of my security people show you to your quarters.
