::Colin rang the bell keeping a concerned expression on his face.::

:: From inside the sound of an annoyed female could be heard, she stepped to the door as she spoke.

Silva: It's about time someone showed to to adjust the repli ... Uh, you're not from Engineering. I see that from your uniform.

Colin: I’m the Chief Medical Officer of the Odyssey, Ma’am, and I am here for your safety.

Silva: My safety? What are you talking about? I've been on the comm demanding an engineer to fix my replicator unit.

Colin: As you know, transporters keep a record of each person’s DNA and scans for any medical threats. Unfortunately, it shows that you have been exposed to Zoola Virus. It is imperative that I determine the extent of your exposure to prevent you from becoming ill.

Silva: A virus? Why wasn't I inoculated before I left the base! Why am I hearing about this just now? Just what kind of medical section are you running here on this ... ?  Uh is this, whatever virus, dangerous? Could I get ill?

Colin: Zoola is highly contagious. Unfortunately, it has a fairly long incubation period. You could have been exposed as long as five weeks ago. That you were exposed is undeniable. Ma’am, I don’t wish to alarm you, but while many survive the virus, it is a pox that can be severely disfiguring. ::He paused and gave his most appealing smile:: You are a very lovely woman, Ma’am. It would be tragic if your beauty was to be destroyed. We have found that Zoola scars go so deep that skin grafts are seldom successful, you see.

Silva: With a horrified look on her face :: Oh dear, we've got to do something. I'm on an important mission for the Federation Council.

Colin:: whipping out his tricorder and showing the pictures:: You see my concern? Only early treatment can prevent this. I need to determine when your exposure occurred. So, may I come in and do a brief scan; I promise, it won’t hurt.

Silva: Yes, come in immediately. This could actually happen to "me"?  I demand a hospital ship be ordered into this area, I want a specialist to examine me.  I mean after all, you're just a doctor and not a specialist in things like this.
