Colin: Ye’ll be fine. Ye fractured a leg, but I’ve mended it now. Just give it some rest. Only light duty tomorrow, none for the rest of today. :: smiling:: Of course, ye could enjoy some time at Circe’s Lounge with your friends if they bring the drinks to you.

::Doctor MacLaren suddenly lost all his color and grabbed his head. His brother’s cry almost split his mind and everything he was feeling shattered Colin’s mind. ::

Nurse: Doctor?

   Chief RN Welby was caught quite off guard by the Chief Medical Officer's sudden spasm of pain and she had no idea what had caused it.

Colin: straitening :: My brother! Gavin...he’s in trouble.

   Welby was unsure of how he knew that his brother was in trouble, other than the empathic abilities shared by Betazoids.  She had never seen any kind of connection act this strongly, but then again she knew more about the physiology of Betazoids than their mental prowess.  

Science Officer =^= Dr. MacLaren, come to the bridge. The captain just collapsed.=^=

Welby: Doctor, perhaps you should wait if you're ill.  I can dispatch a trauma team to assist the captain.

Colin: =^= On my way.

Welby:  Sir, are you sure you are all right?

Colin: I’m fine. My sister needs me. :: He raced to the turbolift and almost collapsed again as another wave of pain jolted through him. He had not doubt that Johanna was experiencing the same. The three siblings had always been closely linked. He hit his combadge.

Colin=^= Colin MacLaren to Commander Clifton, what the hell 

is happening to my brother?

 Clifton: =^= Little busy right now, I'll call you back.  =^=

   With those words the channel switched off, leaving an eerie silence on the bridge.
