   *** Inside the Castle ***

ooc:  This post takes place late at night, inside Clifton's room in the castle.

:: Clifton paced from one side of hiss room to the other, not sure of how to handle the problem he faced.  Morgana had promised to restore him to his old life, reunite him with his ex-wife but in exchange for the Grail.  From all he knew and had learned the Grail was a chalice like cup that contained magical power and Morgana needed it in order to restore what she had said, was her rightful place on the throne. ::

::  Unfortunately he had also learned that no one could remove the Grail from its current place who was not true of heart and that meant morally honorable.  He knew that let him out as a candidate and the best person he could think of was Jo.  This led him to his problem and that was what to tell Jo in order to get her to remove the Grail.  Lying to her was something he had never done and did not wish to do now, but he saw no other person who would be fit to reach the Grail. ::

:: A light knock suddenly came from the door. ::

Clifton: Come in.

:: Welby entered, dressed in what looked like a midevil night coat. ::

Welby: I was just on my way back to my room and I saw your light on.  Everything okay?

Clifton: On the way back?  Where were you going at this hour?

Welby: Well, I don't know about your room but mine doesn't have any plumbing.

:: She had been returning from a trip to the privy. ::

Clifton: Oh, well things are okay.  I was just wondering how we're ever going to get back to our universe. ::

Welby:  We'll figure a way back.  The important thing is that all four of us are well and we have time to consider things before we attempt some kind of return.

Clifton: Yeah, I guess you're right.

:: Welby smiled reassuringly. ::

Welby: Don't worry, Clifton.  We'll all get back safe and sound.

:: Clifton nodded in agreement as she said good night and retreated back into the hallway.
