"MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!"

Elisa kept one hand on a hostage, bracing her rifle to her shoulder with her other hand, guiding the others along the clear patch caused by the sudden Klingon and Marine Attack.

Things were getting a little too hot for her as the Breen were now closing to melee range.

Seeing the Commander getting into a fistfight, she let her rifle drop and reached into the large pouch on the back of her pistol belt and drew a pistol. She pushed the Romulan toward the Runabout as her gloved thumb caressed a small lever on the back of it; *click!*

She sighted through three stubs on the back and pulled the trigger; the Model 1911 projectile pistol jumped in her hand with an almost comical *POW!*

The result was anything but comical - the Breen's helmet shattered like paper mache` and he immediately dropped dead, blood and gore leaking through the hole blasted through his helmet.

Elisa didn't pause. Once she saw him drop, she shifted to a new target and blasted open his chest armor with two more 11mm Slugs.

Spotting the Marines working to force a perimeter around the landed Runabout, she started barking orders. "MARINES! GET ME A FIRING LINE!"

A reply was immediate; "ON IT L.T.!"

She practically shoved the last of the Hostages up the ramp personally before turning around and firing into another couple of Breen trying to get a shot into the runabout.
Spotting the Skipper out of the corner of her eye, she sidestepped closer. "That's the last of them! I think we overstayed our welcome, Sir!"

Alright Lieutenant, Get them strapped in. He ordered as he took shots at several Breen troops starting to make their way into the courtyard.

After firing the 9th round, the slide locked back. She was already reaching back into the pouch for another clip as her firing hand's thumb caressed a button on the side of the grip. The empty magazine fell free and se slammed the new one home before thumbing the slide release and resuming providing covering fire against any Breen that got too close.

Elisa pulled off her helmet and tossed it inside the Runabout. She put two fingers to her lips and let out a shrill whistle before calling out; "YO! EVERYBODY OUT OF THE POOL!"

Syvek rushed ahead with the main group, keeping his eyes to the side since their backs were very well covered already; before him, one of the Romulans fell - stumbled, tripped, exhaustion, Syvek had no idea - but he found he could not be quite callous enough to just leave the helpless man on the ground, the need for Merak to succeed in his mission over-rode any ideas the Vulcan might have entertained about simply abandoning the Romulan.
He bent down and grabbed his arm, pulling him back up, roughly. He leveled his weapon (retrieved after his near-intimacy with the innards of the well), and fired a few shots in the general direction of the Breen, careful not to take any marine heads off in the process. It may buy them the few seconds he had delayed. Shoving the Romulan in front of him, they made the Gryphon.

Orion cleared the way as best as possible using the short blade to cut down any of the Breen dumb enough to get close. He glanced over to see the hostages making their way to the Gryphon, thinking to himself that at least now the mission was a success. At least that was what was on his mind until he felt the pinch of steel in his gut, it seems that one of the Breen took the opportunity to shiv him with a shard of what looked to be one of his fallen comrades helmets.

Macs head whipped around, searching for the hostages and watched in relief as Kurowsa and Syvek ushered the aboard the Gryphon. Orion, lets go! she pushed the Klingon towards the ship and searched the crowd for Captain Dghor and his crew.

Hearing the order to get out of here, the Klingon used his own blade to quickly dispatch his enemy. He pulled the makeshift weapon from his side and made his way quickly to the waiting ship.

Dghor and his crew were doing as promise every Breen that got in their way they would cut down or blast with their weapons. They were soon running past Merak at the bottom of the ramp they ran past him and up the ramp a few staying next to him providing cover fire for Mac and Orion.

Sir, we need to get out of here, she nodded towards Merak standing at the ramp and began to run towards him.

Not till I know all my people are here. He barked not looking at her.

He was clearly pissed that the simple extraction mission had turned into a giant fur ball. One of the Klingons with him took a shot in his shoulder. He looked to the other and barked orders to get him inside.

Come on Syvek get the Vulcan ass moving. He yelled taking down another Breen the was about to shot him in the back.

He pushed him and the last Romulan up the ramp taking a few more shots before running up the ramp himself. Just as he turns he feels a hot burning sensation on his lower right side. Merak pays it no mind and runs up the ramp hitting the closed button as he goes.

Emma raised the ratchet as people began to run inside, but lowered it when she saw that some of them wore Starfleet uniforms. They looked to be in bad shape and must have been the ones her dad said they were going to rescue. She started to stand and remembered that Merak had said to stay down behind the seat. Firing was still going on outside, so maybe it wasnt safe yet. She peeked around the seat and saw Lieutenant Syvek, but no Mac.

Mr. Syvek, she whispered then waved to get his attention. When that didnt work, she shouted. MR SYVEK!

Recognizing the voice before seeing the child, Syvek was relieved he hadn't automatically pulled his weapon back up and frightened her. He pushed the Romulan towards the seats further forward and away from Emma on reflex - his comrades could take him in hand from here. The Vulcan stood sideways on so he could see both the little girl and their guests and there was no further hostage situation to worry about.
"You stay behind there!" he ordered her, moving towards the hatchway and observing the battle.

Where are Mac and Mr. Orion? Didnt they come with you?

"They're rather busy with the marines," he responded. Syvek knew Emma was an intelligent child, but how much she could know about the mission? Neither did it seem wise to say they were engaged with the enemy as children of any race could be headstrong, and he would be more useful in assisting with further trouble than restraining a child determined to go 'save' her friends. "They'll be along in a minute," he assured (for better or worse). "I owe Mr. Orion a drink and I have no doubt Cmd. MacCristen will want to make sure I deliver."

Emma strap yourself in we are out of here. Merak say running past her and Syvek. He jumps in the pilots seat and flips on the intercom. Ladies this is you captain speaking please strap yourself in because it going to be a bumpy ride. HE said turning off the comm and punching the throttle.

Gryphon lurched into the air, Merak at the controls feeling a few hit of ground fire paid them no mind. He only concern was getting his people back home unharmed. The burning in his side was getting worse but Merak ignored it, he people where important right now not him. They cleared the planet atmosphere and could see Falcon waiting for them in orbit, she was sitting there like a beacon. She had a few scorch marks on her but other than that she was ready to take them home.

Can someone take over? Merak said feeling a little light headed.

Orion! Mac nodded to the Klingon while she tried unsuccessfully to stop Meraks fall.

Already on it, sir. He was out of his own seat and at the controls before even he realized what was going on.

Thanks. He said before passing out and falling out of the chair leaving a streak of blood on the back of the seat.

DAD! Emma shouted and struggled to get through the adults.

He can barely hear the scream of his daughter as he collapses to the deck of the cabin. He back covered in blood; the burning he felt was a stray shot hitting him in his lower side. He had thought nothing of it only worrying about getting his people out of there, so it was not until they were safe that he realized he had been hit.

Orion, take the controls, Siobhan ripped the helmet from her head, tossed it aside, and knelt beside Merak. Niko, help me, she ordered, her voice shaking slightly as she ripped open Meraks suit. Merak, can you hear me?

Let me see, Nikito flipped open the medkit, took out his tricorder, and scanned Merak. His brow furrowed.

What? Siobhan asked and took a weeping Emma into her arms. She felt the childs body shiver as she cried.

He stared at the readings a moment more before shaking his head. Nothing must be a malfunction in the tricorder, he replied absently and tapped his commbadge. Falcon, four to beam up directly sickbay, immediately.

Deep inside him, the passengers already started working on repairing the damage but they were still unskilled at making repair to the human body, being never designed for something like that. Yet they did their best to stop what bleeding they could.

Merak, dont you dare leave me. Siobhan yelled at him in her mind and reached out to grasp his hand. She had never been one to show her emotions, something Merak had chastised her for many times, and now she wished more than ever that she could show him how she felt.

Hang on kids were going home. Orion called back to the marines still inside the Gryphon, as he punched it towards Falcon and his injured captain.

Takahashi, Mac, Emma, and Merak shimmered as their bodies were transported from the Gryphon to the Falcons infirmary.
