Dear all

I owe the group and most especially Justin a heartfelt apology for the very stupid blunder I made in my last post.
When Orion suggests a drink with Syvek, Syvek's reply that he would prefer salt tablets is not a rejection of Orion's offer, but a reflection on how close he came to having more liquid than he could handle, having nearly fallen down the well.
As Ruth, Eric and Kim can attest, Syvek sometimes makes a humorous remark, but being Vulcan, he doesn't smile or laugh to reinforce the intention. I always re-read my posts before pressing 'send' to check spellings and that I've got all the tags &c. The 'salt tablet' comment fell through the net. Even the eMail from Eric's friend, John, didn't tip me off until lunchtime today, when I was considering an opening for a Joint Post to propose to Justin (who I hope will forgive me and who I hope is still willing to do the JP). Then I realised how my last post must have come across.
I'm aware of how bitchy the response sounded, both from the character and the player point of view and I'd like to reiterate that this was NOT intentional. I love writing on Falcon and I love writing Syvek (who is meant to be a nice guy) and am deeply sorry for making such a horrible, stupid mistake. I will revise Syvek's remark in my next post, to make it clear what he meant.
