Just downloaded, and wanting to see how to use ivybeans... and the
NetBeans TV link on the project home page is broken :(

I guess I'll keep looking

Indeed you are right all netbeans.tv seems to be redirected to netbeans.org. For instance, you can go there http://code.google.com/p/ivybeans/wiki/features

I've been informed by someone in the NetBeans docs team that the
netbeans.tv problem is just temporary DNS problem and they're working
on getting it fixed now. So netbeans.tv is not going away and there's
no need to change all your links -- they should all work fine in a day
or two.

Eventually, the temporary DNS problem appears to turn out to be sort
of eternal.
Is there a chance to see the movie on YouTube?

It was up a few days after the DNS problem was first reported here in
June -- I followed up to ensure it worked afterwards.

It's an unfortunate coincidence that it's down again. I don't know
why that is (I don't work for Sun) but I have notified them about the
problem. As far as I know the videos are not on YouTube, but in the
message I just sent, I suggested that might be a good alternative plan
if the netbeans.tv server is unreliable.

It has worked between the two mails. I will try to publish this video on YouTube .

Oddly enough, the original link seems to be working for me now. Even
so, given the up-and-down nature of netbeans.tv, having it on YouTube
as a back up seems like a good idea.

I have tried to publish my original swf to youtube but the import failed.
So I will redo soon a simple demo recorded in avi and upload to both sites.

Laurent.
