USPEX 10.4 & VCNEB

Dear all,

I'm having some trouble to launch a VCNEB calculation with the new USPEX version 10.4.

Here is the output for EX15:

Reference to non-existent field 'optType'. 

Error in CreateCalcFolder (line 14) 

Error in NEB_Start (line 25) 

Error in USPEX (line 41) 

MATLAB:nonExistentField

I have tried other VCNEB calculation that worked in 10.3, but all produce the same error.

Adding a "optType field" didn't do any good either...

Any idea?

This bug is fixed, and will not exist in the next release version. Until that time, please use the attached uspex.x instead of the one that is in the directory of your installed USPEX.

1- download uspex.x from here

2- chmod 744 uspex.x

3- cp uspex.x   [USPEX installation directory]/application/archive/src/uspex.x

4- run USPEX
