Related to installation of USPEX

Hi,

I use abinit software for my theoratical calculation.That software is actually installed on supercomputer.I want to use USPEX.Would I install it on supercomputer or  will it work on my normal laptop  as abinit software is installed on spercomputer and I submit my job on supercomputer?

For the correct work of the USPEX algorithm, it should be installed on your supercomputer as well as preferable ab initio software. Since the vast majority of modern supercomputers used UNIX-based operating systems, it should not be a problem. At this point, I can also recommend two video tutorials prepared by the members of our group specially dedicated to installing USPEX on supercomputers.
