PhD and post-doc positions available in Poitiers U

Dear USPEX' users,

A 3-year PhD position is open in my group (Poitiers, France), starting in September 1rst 2018, in Computational Materials Design (CO2-based materials, see our JACS 2018). Net salary: ~1400 €/month

A 1 year Post-doc position is available too, related to the discovery of novel 2D materials, in collaboration with Pr. A.R. Oganov.within the framework of the ANR PRCI France CNRS -China NSFC PREDICT_2D_Nanomat  coordinated by Gilles Frapper. Net salary: ~2400 €/month. This contract could be renewed for another one year.

·      a detailed Curriculum Vitae,

·      a cover letter describing why you should be considered for this position, answering the following questions: What materials modeling technique(s) do you have expertise in? What materials do you look at? What is your experience with software development (if any)? When might you start? 

·      transcripts of Bsc. and M.Sc. courses and grades ( PhD diploma for post-doc),

·      copies of educational certificates, and

·      a list of three professors who have supervised you in M.Sc. (or PhD) research projects or current employers and who are willing to provide a letter of recommendation.
