Hello USPEX users and developers,

I’m trying to connect USPEX with SIESTA as the ab initio code for performing structure prediction.
I already have both USPEX and SIESTA installed and working independently.
 I’m not completely sure about:

The correct format of the driver script — what exact outputs (energy, forces, etc.) USPEX expect from SIESTA?

Whether the command SIESTA line should point to the shell script (bash siestaOptRun.sh) or directly to the SIESTA executable

Any example of a working USPEX–SIESTA interface or test case to verify the setup

Could you please share:

A minimal example (e.g., for a Si or C system)

Guidance on the best practices for energy extraction and convergence criteria

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,
Ali..
