Hello, i'm having lots of trouble installing USPEX.
I'm on the latest ubuntu version (25.04) and:
the normal installation wont work as it would tell me that the download was succesful while nothing would have actually downloaded
the python installation actually installs but whenever i try to run the examples i'm met with an error "no module found: pymatgen.analysis.gb". I tried different python version, different uspex versions, uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work.
is the issure related to my ubuntu version?
thanks

Hello,

I am new to this but currently I am using Ubuntu v25.04. I installed USPEX v10.5 with working python 8.3.13 on it. Upon checking on other conversations, python 8.3.13 works pretty well. Meanwhile, I also read on manual section 5.2.1 that python 2.7.10 works with USPEX v10.1. I think setting a virtual environment (python 8.3.13) will solve your problem if different python version (python 12 or 13) will be detected by USPEX.
