If you are a Permanent Resident with a Form I – 551 (Green Cards Holder) living in the US or outside it and your Green Card has already expired or will expire within 6 months you should immediately apply for a Greencard Renewal Process otherwise you may be denied to entry the United States or even be charged a misdemeanor. Keep your green card current and renewed as it is the first requirement to make you eligible to file citizenship form.
