Hopefully we will be given something soon to chat about and mull over here. it's nice to have a calm, contemplative area here that is just waiting for news and not feel the need for sniping at each other!

dodger - Calm here, but sad to see the sp down with folks having to sell a few to pay some bills. Note that it is ONLY a few shares being sold. A brief factual update from the board would help to focus minds and bolster morale. Probably not too long to go now.

It's a sad fact that people are nervous after the last results, a shame that they can't hold on just a little longer.

If Anth's experience today was anything to go by, then it could look like someone is playing the market to pick up shares on the cheap. However without first hand experience of such calls I will reserve judgment.

It will undoubtedly be an interesting couple of weeks for the SP.

The selling of a few shares probably owes more to immediate need than fear. Very sad that some folks can't choose their time to sell a few, but hopefully they have more left. As for brokers wanting shares, I too reserve judgement and await developments. Having no technical knowledge to offer, I try to ignore hubris and exaggeration in order to focus on facts. My conclusion is, we have fewer facts than one would like at this stage.

The flow test progresses and they could already have flowed oil from more than one level, but it would be nice to have a the odd positive leak emanating from the drill site to add a bit of spice, and to lift the sp a tad. Sorry, I should have said that I like to speculate from time to time. Tough times for all as we have to get some oil flowing to move on with confidence. Not much needed, but a few hundred bpd would be ok. Probably, some news will come sooner than later. Our CEO says we have oil and lots of it. What a f***ing ramper eh?

U never know tetchy, he might've been telling us the truth all along. Soon find out hey ;).
I'm liking the new options incentive announced today, shows a lot of optimism from the guys who are closest to the coalface

That's what I was asking for.....so after the mobilisation update we now have the official starting gun announcement, along with a suggestion that somebody half competent is on site with a plan. The share options are now strangely affordable for our gallant leaders and we are even able to pay deserving folks in golden tokens rather than just hard cash. The price of the options shouldn't trouble the markets, and we move forward more confident. Is that birdsong I hear outside?

Yeh, signs at last that we're moving forward. Don't really understand the weight of negative reaction on the Forum to the Option Scheme tbh - with only a paultry 6% of the total share capital to dish out, if I was on the BoD I'd've whacked the strike price at 5p, irrespective of the Market SP, but hey ho, still nice fat incentives all round, time to get that SP moving upwards, if the BoD can hit £12 a share then they can gladly have the extra £millions I recon :)

We knew about the options anyway so where's the beef. Very few shares in issue anyway. No problem here.

The beef is in the means one feels. That über confidence at the AGM versus the RNS from hell with a few canards thrown in! The drop was overdone and has cost some folks here. Nice to have some positive news. The first element of the RNS could have been given out some days earlier, but the options are a pointer to their expectations, one feels. Speculation, of course, but they have planned these rewards for some time, so why now?

Is it just a pure coincidence but i've noticed that at 46 minutes past each hour (all bar 1046hrs) up to this time, some sort of change to the spreadsheet, is this just pure coincidence?  Ive not looked at other days trading but seems a pattern??

Actually it seems that at 15 min intervals differing trades are shown, is this down to the GXG link in some way???  I assume your update link is only carried out every 15 mins, this is the problem with this company, everyone is looking out for conspiracies and 99% of the time they're not there!!!!

Not me I'm afraid,
I still check every 20sec however after the upgrade the site is being updated in a very strange way.  The order book is totally out of sync with the trade table, last trade figure and volume graph.  They get updated on 15min boundaries now, but not necessarily the same 15min boundaries!!

This is a bit of nightmare to track, I could try to add additional logic to make sense of it and predict trades from the book changes if they appear early, but it will take some time and could be inaccurate in the cases of multiple trades.  I could easily end up with a bad guess that needs to split after the trade table actually updates.  However then the tweet would have already gone out and the spreadsheet updated incorrectly.  You can see what the problem is I think.

The only real way to be sure is to follow the trade table which is what I do now.  I might have a think about adding in a non tweeted ghost entry that vanishes when the actual trade comes in, but not really up to it at the moment, so will have to wait a bit.

Sorry cant do much more except chase GXG to sort it out.  Still waiting on my other query about the missing trades and no reply yet :(

Within the past week i also bought some shares about 12.05pm and they didnt show up until about 12.45. Another trade was posted a minute later.

Some trades are going through at peculiar prices, the £15k one at below top bid raised an eyebrow. Can we assume it is due to a trade with another broker with a bigger spread.

Can someone tell me where the USOP crew are. I got lost after iii and lse meltdown, so after finding USOPforum and its subsequent spam attack, i'm flying blind again.

Thanks, Doggzy

Does anyone have any further thoughts on the last RNS
GXG seem to think like others here. My take is the drop was manufactured. With regard to the share options we voted for, lets be honest, the guys running this show can willingly have them thats what we voted on. But lets see the results, flows & revised CPR. This ain't Bob Diamonds Barclays FFS, 65p is a stinker lol. But hey as long as they deliver good flows & larger proved reserves, who gives a damn.
