New USOP Investors website (soon)

Hi guys, chaosranger here,

I don't want this to be seen as a capitalisation on Fishy's forum death spiral into spam central but more of a highlight of incompatibility of Google Groups to display research in a user friendly manner - I just wanted to have a go at making an all in one website where any potential USOP investor will be able to get ALL of their questions answered (as long as they are answerable!), a place where research can not only be discussed on a forum but also displayed on a main website showing the highlights of our collective knowledge, maybe even embed Debugs spreadsheet into a page if he lets me / its possible :P

So I just wanted to note my intent on creating a new USOP website - I've registered the domain name: USOPinvestors.info

The domain name isn't fully set-up yet so access may be sporadic for the next 24-48 hours - the website hasn't even been created (I'm still at work!). However I have set up a forum that will be open for discussion as of sometime tonight!

All are welcome to join/contribute once its fully up (apart from Higgs... just kidding :P)

P.s. I don't want this to replace either Debugs or USOPforum but to work with both of them to make sure research and information is shareable and easily accessible by current and future investors.

I like the forum when it's working, maybe we can get Fishy to have you as support.

I'm just a little over looking at different places, Google was fine to be honest, should have been kept but moderated differently.

Mosa, its not just about the forum aspect, its about the collating of information/research that a lot of us do into a simple site for potential investors and even current investors that is easily searchable without having to sift through threads and posts, USOPforum and Groups aren't exactly streamlined for what I'm thinking

This forum also has an option to see/write things in the same way as other forums BTW - just click the arrow near the "post reply" button (to come back to previous screen) and than click it again (to get to a different layout - similar to other forums - with categories etc)

Hi guys, I noticed it slowing down a bit this morning and now it seems to be sporadically dropping for no reason - I've contacted my tech support and they're looking into it, sorry for the inconveniance!

Site is back up now - however in fixing it they have broken the domain name so it is only accessible from:

Just an update, there was a server error over night causing a slow down and ultimately a crash - I've just got off the phone from my hosting company and they are transferring me to a working node which should take no longer than 4 hours! The website may be intermittently down during this process!

Really sorry for the inconvenience again, not a brilliant start but I remain committed!

Actually Luke its trivial to search and filter on google groups.  

Just use the search box at the top to search through the whole forum, and the drop down filter box to apply a custom filter based on time, post type etc. 

Google groups threads are also easy to navigate and I think much nicer than the other boards, but that's my preference ;)
