[Union Square Neighborhood Council]

Greetings every one! We have a quick update of events happening over the next few days:

TONIGHT (Sept 9) 6 - 8 pm at Urban Axes (2 Union Square, in the heart of things) Hamilton Company - the owner of the parcel at One Union Square is hosting a neighborhood meeting to "share your ideas for creating vibrant new housing and green space in Union Square." Register to attend at https://oneunionsquare.com/community-meeting <-- we announced this at our last public meeting but this will be late notice for most, we will have an update at our next public meeting. - currently September 21.

Friday, September 11, 7 - 11 pm at New Alliance Gallery the opening of Synth-tember 2026! Learn more here: https://www.newalliancegallery.com/synthtember/synthtember-2026 if you love synthesizers, you will love this. At 438R Somerville Ave <-- that's the studios next to Market Basket.

Saturday September 12, 12 - 5 pm The Gilman Square Arts and Music Festival: https://somervilleartscouncil.org/events/gilman-sq-fest/ at the Edward L Leathers Community Park at 104 Walnut Street, enjoy the food and music and get acquainted with neighbors and community groups in Gilman Square.

Saturday September 19th - 12 - 5 pm Fluff Festival! Union Square, all the food, music, pageantry you can imagine to celebrate Somerville's creation: marshmallow fluff. The MC of the 'fest will be USNC's own Estefania Ladner https://www.flufffestival.com/
