And during those months in 2014 when Monsanto spent $8 million to convince Mauians and politicians that it was a good neighbor, they actually sprayed dangerous poison on their fields, endangering their workers and neighbors. The EPA went after them and fined Monsanto (now sold to Bayer) $10 million.
