to USJ11/4
General housekeeping in USJ11/4 needs improvement in order to keep our residential area clean, pleasant and attractive.
The appointed contractor does not seem to adhere to MPSJ schedule; viz;
A. Potong rumput & sapu Jalan - week 1 & 3 ( 2 X per month)
B. Cuci longkang. - week 2 & 4 ( 2X per month)
The frequency is of grass cutting , cuci longkang and sapu Jalan is below expectation. Their performance needs improvement.
- Grass cutting - the workers only scheme through the grass surface and not cutting the grass proper. Often after the grass cutting exercise the grass just dun seem to be cut at all. Weeds are just left to grow and grow.
- The streets are littered with unwanted garbage discarded from cars etc. And are left on the streets for ages until a heavy thunderstorm comes and wash them away.
- Drains are filled with vegetation and choked with discarded garbage.
Some drains are damaged due to age.
- Drain inlets installed at the road curb are either broken and filled with earth and vegetation rendering them ineffective to drain off surface water when rain.
- Grass over growing onto the road and road curbs thus making the roads appear narrower and unsightly.
- Dog faeces are left haphazardly on the grass area. From the size of the faeces they come from big dogs like huskies etc etc
( most dog owners clean up after their pets have done its business but only a handful of dog owners don't)
- USJ 11 playground brick pavement next to the volley ball court damaged by contractor. ( need to make good by contractor)
We hope that our RA can channel our observations to MPSJ for improvement.
It is our hope to see USJ 11 clean, pleasant and attractive and be the best in Subang Jaya in the very near future.
We request that you publish in the RA updates that the making of a clean, pleasant and attractive environment to live in does not just lie in the hands of our MPSJ.
Of paramount importance, We must improve our civic sense and work together with MPSJ to achieve our vision of a clean, pleasant and attractive environment.
Thank you.
Regards
William Leong
