Title : PM III (Data Warehouse experience)
Location : USAA, San Antonio TX
Duration : 6 months, starting ASAP (thru December 31, 2010)
C2C Inclusive Rate: $56/hour
Information from Manager:
Must Have:
Waterfall
Data Warehousing/Management exp
Working with the Design and Delivery of the projects
Familiar with BI Tools (Microsoft, business objects)
Being able to red flag problems around gathered requirements
Weekly status reports required
Team consist of 3-10 (tech lead, PM, Business Mngr, test lead, developer(onshore offshore), etc.)
30+ projects to complete by year end
Project sizes - 1,000 hrs to 10,000hrs
Interview process - phone and then face to face but may hire off of just phone
1. Project Manager III
The minimum requirements for all levels is:
The resource(s) must have the following skills / background:
o Bachelor's degree
o At least two years project management experience
o Familiarity with Agile Methodology
o Experience facilitating
o Proven ability to handle / resolve conflict
o Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
o Ability to manage frequent change
o Project administration
o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
o MS Office experienced user
o Well versed in Microsoft Project
o Experience building project schedules
o Quick learner
Preferred skills / background:
o Familiarity with Artemis or other project management software
o Project Management Professional Designation
o Experience with industry software development methodologies
o Agile Project Management training
Project Manager III has the following additional requirements:
o Domain expertise in property and casualty insurance, banking, investments, financial planning, or life insurance / annuities
o Ability to identify and facilitate quick resolution of issues
o Experience forecasting project spend and schedule based on earned value
o Experience reporting project status to stakeholders
o Ability to identify and facilitate quick resolution of issues
o Experience leading small efforts or teams
o Agile Project Management training
o Formal leadership training
o Manage project risks and issues
o Communicate project costs, quality, schedule, issues and decisions to stakeholders in a timely manner
o Develop work plan and schedule
o Manage project scope and budget
o Provide project team leadership
o Provide mentoring to team on processes, strategies and project skills
o Provide Guidance and set Enterprise direction
