Job Description:

An Application Developer with expertise in IBM Mainframe zOS environments possesses a strong foundation in core zOS skills, such as VSAM, JCL, REXX, TSO/ISPF, and Mainframe tools. They also have proficiency in at least one language skill, such as COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler, and database skills, such as DB2 or IMS-DB. Additionally, they may have experience in transaction processing skills like CICS or IMS-DC. This skill set enables them to develop, maintain, and support applications in the zOS environment effectively.

Required skills:

• 5–8+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, IMS, REXX.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create scalable solutions.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of programs.
