Job Description
We are
seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant with deep
expertise in Procurement and Payables to support a major ERP modernization
initiative. This is a business side functional SME role, not a technical
configurator position. You will lead process design, requirements definition,
cross functional collaboration, and validation of the system integrator’s (SI)
work to ensure the Oracle Fusion solution aligns with client’s business needs.
Important: Prior experience leading a large scale Oracle Cloud implementation
is not required—however, participation or exposure to one is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Design & Requirements
• Lead analysis of current state Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
• Recommend improved future state processes aligned with Oracle recommended
best practices.
• Document business rules, process flows, functional requirements, and edge
cases.
• Identify process gaps and propose solutions rooted in business value.
Partnering With the System Integrator (SI)
• Participate in SI led design workshops as the functional SME.
• Review and validate SI functional designs for Procurement & Payables.
• Ensure configurations align with documented requirements and operational
needs.
• Act as liaison between Getty stakeholders and SI consultants; escalate risks
proactively.
Procurement & AP Subject Matter Expertise
• Provide hands on expertise across the entire P2P lifecycle, including:
o Supplier onboarding & qualification
o Catalog management (punchout & static)
o Requisitions → Purchase Orders
o Sourcing (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
o Invoice processing, matching, holds, and tolerances
o Procurement contracts and renewals
• Support data mapping and validation (suppliers, catalogs, contracts, POs,
invoices).
Testing, Training & Change Enablement
• Develop and review test scripts, UAT scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT execution, defect triage, and re testing.
• Contribute to user training materials, job aids, and transition guidance.
• Assist with cutover planning for the transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Documentation & Communication
• Maintain clear, current documentation around requirements, decisions, and
process flows.
• Facilitate cross functional workshops with Procurement, AP, Finance, and IT.
• Communicate complex functional concepts in simple, business friendly terms.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement,
including:
o Purchasing
o Self Service Procurement
o Sourcing
o Supplier Qualification
o Procurement Contracts
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Payables (invoice workflows, matching,
AP processes).
• Demonstrated ability to lead functional discussions, business process design,
and requirements gathering.
• Experience partnering with an SI during an Oracle implementation (reviewing
designs, supporting testing, etc.).
• Strong documentation skills, process mapping capability, and ability to
challenge assumptions constructively.
• Excellent communication skills; experience collaborating with both technical
and non technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Exposure to or participation in a large scale Oracle Cloud ERP
implementation.
• Knowledge of downstream Finance systems and integrations.
• Familiarity with procurement compliance, supplier risk, and contract
lifecycle processes.
• Experience with change management or user enablement activities.
• Functional familiarity with OTBI/BI Publisher (reporting).
