Job Title: Database Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA [ Hybrid Work ]

Visa: H4 Only 

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

Local to GA only 

Database Engineer

 

- Engineering and sustaining scripts for maintaining relational databases
- Ensuring products meet security, supportability, and performance requirements
- Creating, reviewing, maintaining, and updating documentation
- Documenting and publishing fixes in the central knowledge base
- Sharing knowledge among colleagues

Must have:

- High competence in multiple programming languages, including Python, Perl, Ksh, and C
- 5-10 years of programming experience, with a recent focus on Python
- Required experience with Python frameworks
- Good understanding of UNIX and/or Linux system fundamentals
- SQL programming skills
- Familiarity with common third-party tools for managing large database environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Required experience with Postgres
- Expertise in using and implementing Kerberos
- Experience in designing enterprise large-scale software infrastructures
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment
