Role Overview

The client is seeking a Senior Azure AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize enterprise-grade AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. The selected resource will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and production-ready AI systems, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

 

Scope of Responsibilities

Azure AI & Generative AI Solutions

·         Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Microsoft Azure.

·         Implement Large Language Model (LLM)–based applications using Azure OpenAI Service.

·         Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases and search.

·         Build AI solutions for NLP, Computer Vision, Speech, and Conversational AI use cases.

·         Data Engineering & Analytics

·         Design and manage data pipelines using:

·         Azure Data Factory

·         Azure Synapse Analytics

·         Azure Databricks

·         Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

·         Work with structured and unstructured data for AI model training and inference.

·         Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization.

Application Development

·         Develop AI services and APIs using Python and modern frameworks.

·         Implement REST-based and event-driven integrations.

·         Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of AI applications.

MLOps, DevOps & Deployment

·         Implement CI/CD and MLOps pipelines using:

·         Azure ML Pipelines

·         Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

·         Manage model lifecycle including training, versioning, deployment, and monitoring.

·         Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

·         Apply Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

Cloud Architecture, Security & Compliance

·         Design cloud-native AI architectures aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework.

·         Implement security best practices using:

·         Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)

·         Managed Identities

·         Azure Key Vault

·         VNETs and Private Endpoints

·         Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and governance standards.
