Automation Architect – Infrastructure Monitoring & Automation

Location: Remote (USA Onshore)
Duration: 12 Months (Extension up to 2 Years)

Job Summary
We are seeking highly experienced Automation Architects to lead the design and implementation of a unified monitoring and automation framework across distributed infrastructure environments.

 

This role will drive architecture strategy, tool integration, and scalable automation design, enabling proactive monitoring, intelligent alerting, and automated remediation across enterprise systems.

 

Key Responsibilities
Architect and design a unified monitoring & alerting framework across:
Servers (Windows/Linux)
VMware & IBM platforms (AIX, Linux One)
Storage, SAN, and network infrastructure
Databases and backup systems
Define architecture for integrating tools such as:
Splunk, Dynatrace, and security platforms
OS logs, infrastructure logs, and application telemetry
Design data aggregation, normalization, and correlation pipelines
Build architecture for:
Intelligent alerting systems
Automated remediation workflows
Lead development of centralized dashboards (GUI-based) for real-time observability
Establish automation standards, frameworks, and reusable components
Identify monitoring gaps and design innovative solutions to improve visibility
Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and application teams

Required Skills
Automation & Scripting
Expert in Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash/Korn
Experience building enterprise automation frameworks
Monitoring & Observability
Strong experience with Splunk, Dynatrace
Deep understanding of log aggregation, parsing, and correlation
Infrastructure Expertise
Linux (RHEL), Windows Server
VMware, IBM Power/AIX, Linux One
Storage (SAN, arrays), networking, IP traffic
Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
Backup: Rubrik, Data Domain, Infinibox

Architecture & Design
Experience designing scalable, distributed monitoring systems
Strong knowledge of data pipelines and system integration patterns
GUI / Dashboard Development
Experience with Flask, Django, or similar frameworks

Experience
10+ years in infrastructure automation / systems engineering
Proven experience designing enterprise monitoring & automation solutions
Experience in large-scale distributed environments
