Job Title: Informix Developer

Location: Providence, RI

Duration: 6 Months

Purpose:              To provide an Informix Developer with extensive experience creating new data forms, creating extensions of current forms, modification and creation of ACE reports, importing / exporting data, unloading table data, familiarity with SQL syntax for writing queries, and modifying 4GL and PER programs based on agency specifications. Programming using ESQL and Unix shell scripting required.

Scope:                    Vendor is to provide an Informix Developer to the application development team to further utilize Informix SE development environment.  Vendor is expected to provide an Informix Developer onsite for the duration of 6 months (910hours for 26 weeks).  Employee will work 35hrs per week and follow state holiday rules.   Vendor will be working at One Capitol Hill, Providence RI.  Agencies supported include Worker’s Compensation, Contractors Licensing Board, DEM, Municipal Finance, HR and IT Billing.

Contract is expected to start July 1, 2018 and end December 31, 2018. 

Vendor is to provide candidate with the following experience:

• Informix developer with the following skill set:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in creating new forms as well as do extensions on current forms.  

• Experience developing forms customization using Sperform

• Develop or modify ACE reports as required.  Experience with ACE report writer preferred. 

• Experience in importing / exporting / unloading data

• Familiarity with SQL syntax for writing queries to provide data to agencies

• Experience in modifying *.4gl / *.per programs per agency specifications

• Troubleshoot and work with affected agencies to resolve problems.

• Experience in application conversion to outside vendor

• Informix ESQLC

• Unix shell scripting
